Guinea Pigs should be fed at a fixed time, 2-3 times a day. The indiscriminate feeding may lead to the development of diseases of the digestive and other systems. According to most experts, the best food for the guinea pig are: wheat bran, oats, carrots and green fodder (in spring and summer) or hay (in autumn and winter). One adult guinea pig thou shalt put the offer: up to 0,5 kg. green fodder (up to 60 г. hay) or up to 100g. mixture of vegetables and fruits, and 50 mg. grain or bran. Ready pellets give guinea pigs of 10-20 gr. day.
